What you can look forward to in 2018:
Outdoor Yoga Adventures
Wonderful Weekend Workshops
4, 6 or 8 Week Yoga Programmes
Please note that Andrea is taking a break from teaching yoga until May 2018 and we will no longer be running weekly ongoing drop-in yoga classes. After much deliberation we have decided that presenting structured courses and programmes, and building a community of like-minded loving people who support themselves and each other in the deepest way possible will be much more beneficial for everyone. 2018 is your year for right action, for constructive thinking and conversing with yourself and others in a productive and loving way. This is your year to really make a difference, in your life, and others.
Right here on this website is where you'll find out all about what's coming up so please keep checking in, checking Facebook, and checking your inbox so you don't miss out. If you're not already on our mailing list please complete the form below.
Namaste, and much love always, Andrea xoxo

CEO Cotton On Group Hi Andrea, I found the session really rewarding, I liked that you talked through the origins and science, business leaders tend to want to know there is something solid behind something that’s new to them. SHELLEY HOLLISTER
Health & Physical Education Teacher Devonport High School Our Health and Phys. Ed department have participated a number of Yoga sessions with Andrea. The lessons have been enjoyable, well-organised and carefully differentiated to cater for different fitness levels, ability levels and ages. Andrea has been thoroughly prepared for each class and her manner and presentation during each class is calming, encouraging and engaging. The students from each class (Grade 8 through to Grade 10) thoroughly enjoyed their time doing Yoga and we will definitely use her again in the future. |
JARED WISEMAN
Co-Founder Essential Personal Training I have had the pleasure of attending sessions with the lovely Andi regularly for some time now. Relaxing for me is not something that comes easy. With an extremely busy lifestyle which has certainly lead to amounts of unwanted stress along the way, I needed something that was convenient, time efficient and of course effective for me! And I found this at Haven Yoga. Its now not a chore to find time for me to relax, but instead with the help of Haven Yoga I find the time to attend the sessions every week. The sessions are super relaxed, enjoyable and great for winding down and feeling great each and every week. Whether its once a week for 30 minutes, or multiple times a week, I'm sure you will gain the benefits I have enjoyed so far. I now manage stress so much better, and feel even more happier, healthier and positive than ever before. |

Yoga is a waste of time. That’s what I used to think.
Looking back now I realise how close-minded I was. I have been practising yoga for almost two years now, and the benefits and improvements that it has made to my life are just unbelievable. In my almost two years of practising yoga, I have become a completely different person. Today, you could ask anyone who knows me, and they’d tell you. I am a lot more positive, and have learned a lot about self-love and appreciation.
The moment I walk in, I’m relaxed. All my worries and stress just seem to float right out the door. They don’t matter. For a whole hour I am focussed on nothing but myself and my breathing. It is my practice. I am there for no one but myself. I am the most important thing. I always find it funny how for the hour or so that I am at yoga, everything else ceases to exist. There is something so peaceful about just being ‘there’. In the present. Not thinking about anything that has happened or is going to happen. Just my breathing; and knowing that I can hold that pose for just a few more breaths.
Last but certainly not least, the lovely Andrea. Full of nothing but love and kindness she is everything you could want in a yoga instructor. She is always there to help you modify a pose and remind you that you are a perfect just the way you are and that you’re always doing great, even if you don’t think so. Throughout each class there is always encouragement if you can’t quite complete a pose, as well as an emphasis on being able to have a laugh at yourself when you kinda fail, and the knowledge that through practise and relaxation it will be easier. No one is ever expected to be the best yogi on the face of the earth. As much as we are reminded that we are perfect the way we are, we are also reminded that no one is perfect, and that it is absolutely okay. Andrea always brings something a little special to each and every one of her classes, and makes everyone who comes through the door feel like a cherished friend.
Haven is a wonderful place where people of any age can begin their yoga practice and experience the vast array of physical and mental benefits that comes with it. Since beginning my practice, I am better equipped to deal with stress and much more open to loving myself for who I am.
These days, if anyone ever mentions to me that they’re under stress, or worried, the first words that fly out of my mouth are that they should start doing yoga. I would recommend it to anyone, as at Haven, it doesn’t matter who you are, or how old you are, all are welcome.
That is why I do yoga. And why you should too.
